Recommendation
These programme descriptions would work particularly well as separate cards or sections on the website, allowing parents and professionals to quickly identify the most relevant support pathway. Why Parent Wellbeing Matters
Parents and carers of children with Special Educational Needs often dedicate significant time and energy to supporting their children. While this commitment is invaluable, it can sometimes come at the expense of their own wellbeing.
Research consistently shows that parental wellbeing plays an important role in family functioning, resilience, and positive outcomes for children.
By supporting parents to care for themselves, build coping strategies, and access peer support, we help create stronger foundations for the whole family.
