About Us

Quality Time Family Services was established with a commitment to supporting families who may not always find it easy to access mainstream services. We recognise that many parents and carers face additional barriers, including language differences, cultural factors, social isolation, and limited access to appropriate support networks.

Our approach is compassionate, inclusive, and culturally sensitive. We create welcoming environments where parents can connect with others who understand their experiences, access meaningful support, and develop skills that promote positive wellbeing.

Our programmes focus on prevention and early intervention, helping families build strength before challenges become overwhelming.

Our Mission

A community where every parent and carer feels supported, valued, and equipped to thrive while caring for children with additional needs.

Our Approach

To empower parents and carers of children with Special Educational Needs by providing accessible wellbeing programmes that promote emotional resilience, confidence, connection, and family wellbeing.

Everything we do is guided by the following principles:

Respect

Every family’s experience is unique. We listen without judgement and value individual perspectives.

Inclusion

We welcome families from all backgrounds and strive to make our programmes accessible to everyone.

Empowerment

We focus on helping parents recognise their strengths and build confidence in their ability to support their children.

Wellbeing

Parental wellbeing is at the heart of our work because healthy, supported parents are better able to support their families.

Community

We believe in the power of connection and shared experiences to reduce isolation and build resilience.

Vision

A community where every parent and carer feels supported, valued, and equipped to thrive while caring for children with additional needs.

Why Parent Wellbeing Matters

Parents and carers of children with Special Educational Needs often dedicate significant time and energy to supporting their children. While this commitment is invaluable, it can sometimes come at the expense of their own wellbeing.

Research consistently shows that parental wellbeing plays an important role in family functioning, resilience, and positive outcomes for children.

By supporting parents to care for themselves, build coping strategies, and access peer support, we help create stronger foundations for the whole family.
