QTFS supports parents, carers, and families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), neurodivergence, emotional wellbeing needs, and families affected by serious mental health challenges.

Yes. Parents and carers can contact QTFS directly to discuss their needs and access appropriate support.

Yes. Schools, SENCOs, health professionals, social care professionals, family support workers, and community organisations are welcome to refer families to QTFS.

No. A formal diagnosis is not required. We recognise that many families are awaiting assessment or are exploring possible needs and can still benefit from support.

Programmes may be delivered face-to-face, online, or through a blended approach, depending on the needs of families and programme arrangements.

Programme length varies. Some programmes run over 6 to 8 sessions, while others may offer individual or group support tailored to family needs.

QTFS offers the My EHC Parent Support Programme, which helps parents understand the EHCP journey, interpret reports, work collaboratively with schools, and advocate confidently for their child.
